According to a report of LNG trading by loading port released on 27th by the Ministry of Finance, Japan, the country’s LNG imports from the Atlantic Ocean area in February ranged US$5 to $9s per MMBtu. 601,000 mt of LNG were imported from the US, Peru, and Nigeria in the month, averaging at $8.60, up by $0.33 (4%) from the previous month.
