The volume of thermal coal derivatives traded and cleared onthe ICE platform rose 29% on the month to 187 million mt, the highestmonthly figure since November 2016, data from energy exchange ICEFutures Europe and electronic trading platform globalCOAL showedMonday.Year on year, the volume was down 19%.Options made up 49% of volume, increasing 96% on the monthand 14% year on year.
