London-The southern African nation of Namibia suffered a fresh setback in its decades-old hunt for oil this week, but rising prices and the aggressive return of oil majors to the region bodes well for future drilling. The closely watched Cormorant-1 exploration well drilled by UK-based Tullow Oil found only water-bearing reservoir rocks after targeting one of four offshore prospects seen having a combined 915-million-barrel potential.
