South Korea’s auto production, exports rise 2% on year in Nov

South Korea produced 390,573automobiles in November, up 2.2% year onyear, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energysaid Thursday, citing data from the KoreaAutomotive Manufacturers Association.The higher output came amid a rise inexports in November, which stood at238,357 units, up 2.3% year on year.Also, strong domestic demand for ecofriendlyvehicles, including hydrogen fuelcell cars, electric vehicles and hybrids,pushed November sales to 15,776 units, up35.5% on year.
