Rhodium dips on month-end, holiday selling

Washington—Rhodium prices dipped modestly this week on month-end positioning ahead of the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend in the US. The Platts New York Dealer rhodium price slipped to $5,825-$6,000/oz from $5,900-$6,075/oz last week on lower sales, with some market sources citing bids as low as $5,750/oz. US financial markets were closed Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday and reopened Friday, but many traders in the US are out Friday as well.
