China’s Nanjing Yunhai to pour $188 million into new aluminum, ferrosilicon projects

China’s Nanjing Yunhai Special Metals plans to pour Yuan 1.3 billion ($188 million) in building one 100,000 mt/year aluminum alloy project, and one 300,000 mt/ year ferrosilicon project in Liaocheng City, Shandong and Baotao City, Inner Mongolia, the producer said late Thursday. Yunhai has signed an investment co-operation deal with Shandong Xinfa Group, whereby Yuan 200 million ($116 million) will be poured to set up a joint aluminum venture, with Yunhai having 51% stake, and Xinfa 49%, the company said in a filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
