The Platts daily Shanxi alumina assessment fell Yuan 20/mt ($2.91) on Thursday to Yuan 2,650/mt ex-works in cash, down from Yuan 2,670/mt on Wednesday. The current price is also down Yuan 120/mt from June 27, and down Yuan 475/mt from a month go.
