Sasol Opens Nanjing Alkoxylation Plant, Its 'Largest' Expansion Project in China

Nanjins- Sasol announced the opening of its new alkoxylation unit in Nanjing, the company's "largest" expansion project in China, which will more than double its alkoxylation production capacity in the region (PCN, 6 May 2019, p 3). The facility, which reached beneficial operation in April 2019, has a capacity of around 150,000 t/y and is based on state-of-the-art technology. It has the option of using branched or linear alcohols to meet differentiated customer requirements.
