The patent describes a transparent gel cosmetic composition with a high content of oil-soluble components and a plant-derived natural surfactant stabilised using a high-pressure emulsification method.It is claimed to combine the advantages of an oil formulation with those of a moisture gel formulation.The plant-derived surfactant is a mixture of an alkyl glucoside with about 0.7% methyl glucoside sesquistearate and a polyglyceryl-based surfactant,preferably polyglyceryl-3 methyl glucose distearate,at about 5%.The preferred alkyl glucoside is cetearyl glucoside at about 0.5%,all percentages by weight.The preferred oil-soluble component shows olive oil at about 8%,cyclopentasiloxane at about 8% and an undefined mixture of hydrocarbon oil,esters,natural oils and silicone oil at about 24%.It also shows polyol-8 at 10% and includes preservatives,ethylhexylglycerin,5% ethanol and a flavouring agent.
