The molybdenum market wasmarkedly quieter Wednesday compared withthe last 10 days, with sparse business reportedover the day. Several sources said they had notreceived price inquiries for oxide powder orferromolybdenum. A European trader said he was not hearingfrom mills or traders: "Customers say theynow don't need material for the first week ofJanuary." Others agreed it was quiet, but wereunconcerned because the molybdenum marketlooked robust.
