Pittsburgh—The week of June 15 was heard to be quiet in the US scrap market as participants eye several contributing factors to get a sense of where prices are headed in July. Following a June buy week that suddenly saw pricing sentiment soften as trading began, more bearish sentiment was heard. Export prices, which had been a bright spot since rising over recent weeks, started to soften a little bit, falling $5/lt on US deals the week of June 15.
