Singapore—The Capesize market rebounded on Oct. 21 as freight discussions advanced following a sharp decline in the previous two weeks. Platts Cape T4 Index ended the downtrend on the back of a bullish paper market. “Today market sentiment has totally changed; market talk is improving,” a Capesize ship operator said. However, physical trading remained stagnant, with limited fixtures concluded during Asian trading hours despite the positive sentiment.
