US Steel to restart Keetac iron ore operations in Minnesota

Pittsburgh—US Steel has decided to restart its Keetac iron ore mining facility in Minnesota, it said Nov. 5, after previously suspending operations in April as it adjusted production in the wake of the coronavirus. "We are encouraged by the increase in demand and believe this restart will best support our customers," the company said in a statement.
