Sao Paulo—The Brazilian domestic ferrous scrap market was silent in the first full trading of February, with less negotiations mainly due to the effects of the coronavirus outbreak in the international market and, consequently, lower export prices, several sources said Monday. According to most sources, there was a decrease in the international market of about $50/mt in most ferrous scrap grades since mid-January when the virus outbreak became public.
