London—Atlantic met coal markets saw US export pricing slide further Oct. 19 as premium HCC found lower levels, squeezing differentials with lower quality coals. The decline in indices based on premium low volatile matter coking coal follows offers and price indications in the region for Australian coals including premium mid-vol, semi premium mid-vol blends, and second-tier low-vol. No premium low-vol HCC offers were seen, with offers for US premium coals also currently limited on earlier sales and loading programs.
