Pittsburgh—Liberty Steel USA has completed its acquisitions of Solon Specialty Wire and Shaped Wire from Leggett & Platt, opening new markets for the company in the US, it said Nov. 2. The Ohio-based companies manufacture drawn steel wire, coldrolled shapes and aluminum products for customers in the automotive, fiber optic, food packaging and medical end-user markets, Liberty said. Financial terms were not disclosed.
