Ukraine raises pig iron, steel output in 2018: Ukrmetallurgprom

The Ukrainian steel industry produced 20.53 million mt of pig iron in 2018, up 4% from 2017, the country’s industry association, Ukrmetallurgprom, said Friday. Ukrainian full-year crude steel output reached 21.06 million mt, stable on the year, while steel products were up 3% on the year at 18.45 million mt.
