Russian domestic steel market has seen opposing price direction lately, with flat steel prices remaining firm with upward potential and long steel prices undergoing downward corrections, sources in the Moscow region said Friday. According to a local distributor, Russian flat steel suppliers were playing the card of reduced allocation of hot-rolled coils due to the maintenance works at the Magnitogorsk rolling mill, planned for March to May.
