Iran, Russia Talk Oil Markets Ahead of US Sanctions

Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh and his Russian counterpart Alexander Novak discussed global oil markets and "further regulation of production" under an Opec-led production cut deal during a meeting in Moscow late Monday. Relations between Iran and Russia have become strained after Moscow cut a side deal with Opec kingpin Saudi Arabia, Iran's archrival, to add more supply to global oil markets, in part to help replace barrels lost by renewed US sanctions on Iran.
