Halcon Sells Last of Bakken Acreage

US independent Halcon Resources is selling its remaining acreage in the Bakken tight oil play in North Dakota to an unnamed private company for $104 million cash. The nonoperated asset package includes current production of 2,300 boe/d across 15,600 acres. The purchase price works out to $46,000 per flowing barrel, according to analysts at investment bank Seaport Global Securities.
