Murphy Sells Refinery to Valero

Murphy Oil said Thursday it will sell its125,000 barrel per day Meraux,Louisiana, refinery to Valero Energy for$325 million plus inventory valued at$300 million. The deal is expected toclose in the fourth quarter.Murphy also said it would soon com-plete the sale of its 130,000 b/d Milford Haven refinery in Wales — a move whichwould complete its exit from the refiningbusiness.
