Exports of crude oil and refined products from the US could travel diverging paths in the near future, according to ship brokers and traders. “Activity did pick up” in product exports since late April and early May, one ship broker said. “US Gulf Coast cargoes went from twin 11-cargo weeks [through May 8], they increased to the low twenties through [May 15] and the low- to mid-thirties last week.”
