Eni Plans to Cut Carbon Emissions

Eni has unveiled one of the oil and gas industry’s most ambitious plans to cut carbon emissions and transform itself into a much greener energy company, while minimizing the risk of ending up with worthless “stranded” assets. The Italian major is committing to cut its greenhouse gas emissions 30% by 2035 and 80% by 2050 in absolute terms.
