Uber Sets 100% EV Goal

Ride-hailing giant Uber has committed to converting its global fleet to 100% electric vehicles (EVs) by 2040,joining peers such as Lyft in advancing a zero-emissions platform.Uber said it hopes to achieve the same goal 10 years earlier for US,Canadian and European cities.The targets would be pursued alongside partnerships with public transit systems and"micro mobility"platforms such as bikes and electric scooter services,along with funding and incentives to support Uber drivers in making the switch to EVs.
