Range Pondering Sale of North Louisiana Assets

Range Resources Corp. management said on Tuesday that it would consider selling the assets in North Louisiana’s Cotton Valley Sands Terryville Complex if they continue to underperform. When pressed by a fnancial analyst during a second quarter earnings call, CEO Jef Ventura said Range remains focused on deleveraging the balance sheet. He indi- cated that a sale of the Terryville assets, which the company acquired just two years ago in a $4.4 billion deal to take over Memorial Resource Development Corp., has not been ruled out.
