JSW Steel has set a target of supplying 1.5 lakh tonne of TMT Rebars to metro rail projects across the country in FY2019-20, compared to an annual average of one lakh tonne in the past few years. The company supplied more than 30,000 metric tonnes of JSW Neosteel TMT Rebars for construction of Metro projects in various Indian cities in the last 2 months. With this, its overall supplies of the Rebars for metro construction projects has crossed 85,000 tonnes in the current financial year, which is more than half of its target for the current fiscal.
