Nyrstar to make $21m from sale of Peru zinc mine

Nyrstar, a key zinc producer in Europe, has made a step towards itstransition to focus on metals processing by offloading its mine in Peruto Glencore for $21 million, the company said on Friday September 1.The Contonga mine, which is currently closed for sale, produced12,000 tonnes of zinc in concentrates for the financial year 2015,according to the company’s website.
