Japanese reference price talks to resume in March

Talks between Japanese utility Tohuku Electric and leadnegotiator Glencore for April-start annual contracts for high c.v.Newcastle coal have hit a pause and are likely to resume only bymid March, sources said.It is understood officials from Glencore and Tohuku met inTokyo last week though the talks to set a Japanese reference price(JRP) have been inconclusive. Sources said earlier in the weekthere appeared to be a push from negotiators to table a number,but that has since disappeared.
