Colombian thermal inventories slump 53% on month

Combined thermal coal stockpiles at the ports of Cerrejón, Drummond and Glencore in Colombia were 1.06 mt on 11 June, down 53% compared with 2.26 mt on 7 May, and down 71% from 3.65 mt this time last year, according to data from shipping agencies. Cerrejón’s stocks rose, bucking the broader trend, while inventories at Drummond and Glencore dipped month on month.
