Korean tendering subdued, but Australian, Russian awards emerge

Tendering activity by South Korea’s generators was subdued across the latest fortnight, with three of the five state-owned generators sitting on the sidelines. However, Korea South-East Power (KOEN) made two awards, with the first a three-year term tender for Australian 5,600 kc NAR min material. In that tender, LT10, the generator was seeking two Capes (0.26-0.30 mt) for loading in October-November in the first contract year. The second and third contract year span December 2020 to November 2022.
