Low demand weighs on global DAP/MAP prices

Sluggish demand across markets and plunging sulphur prices extended gradual declines in DAP/MAP prices this week despite limited availability and a strong recovery in the Indian rupee. India’s NFL purchased another cargo of roughly 50,000 t DAP from a trader with Chinese material. The deal is indicated at $421-422/t CFR pushing down the India DAP price to $421-424/t CFR from $423-425/t CFR.
