Brazil: SSP production down, imports up

Brazil's domestic SSP production from January through September reached 3.08 Mt, down 7.9% year on year, according to the latest ANDA data. SSP production in calendar year 2017 was down 11% year on year at 4.3 Mt. Brazil's SSP imports in January-September rose 26% year on year to 754,282 t. January to December 2017 SSP imports were down 1% year on year at 710,951 t.
