Sulphur markets were cautiously bullish this week, with price increases published on a few benchmarks and firm prices heard on the latest tenders. However, Chinese spot import demand was still slow and port inventories increased again. Gazprom’s tender for the export of 40,000 t of granular sulphur from Ust Luga was reportedly awarded in the low $130s/t FOB, up from earlier sales in the $120s/t.
