Brazil: Claims of higher gMOP prices

Some suppliers of granular MOP to Brazil suggest that prices have increased although sales above $310/mt CFR have yet to be confirmed. Producers continue to report limited availability and some are now fully committed on sales through the end of the second quarter. Those who do have product have reported offers as high as $320/mt CFR. Prices have increased to an average of around $310/mt CFR and sales have been made as high as $315/mt CFR, according to one producer.
