SE Asia: Growing confidence of Malaysia price rise

Spot prices of standard MOP in Southeast Asia were again assessed stable at an indicative $260-290/mt CFR though confidence is growing throughout the supply chain that higher prices will be confirmed in Malaysia. Offers in domestic tenders in Malaysia are reported to be reflecting roughly $285/mt CFR though awards are yet to be confirmed and only small volumes have been under negotiation so far.
