Prices of standard MOP in the local Malaysian market have increased, providing some support for higher CFR prices in future sales by producers, market participants reported this week. Inland tenders in Malaysia are now said to be reflecting roughly $285/mt CFR, though large import tenders for shipment in the second half of the year have yet to be issued.
