Prices of Egyptian 60-68% BPL (27-31% P2O5) phosphate rock are largely stable at $40-50/mt FOB amid high competition, market participants report. Recent attempts by traders to achieve spot sales of 61-66% BPL rock to India at the mid-to-high $60s/mt CFR to west India, reflecting around $50-52/mt FOB Egypt, have not yet been accepted by buyers. Some sources noted that west coast India phosrock sales had been secured at $62-63/mt CFR, reflecting around $45/mt FOB Egypt.
