Trinidad: Koch lifting from PLNL, CNC still shut

Koch is currently lifting 40,000 mt ammonia from Point Lisas on its Hellas Apollo from the Point Lisas Nitrogen Limited (PLNL) facility, its joint venture with CF Industries. CF and Koch recently won an arbitration case against the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) in connection with NGC’s failure to supply its contracted quantities of natural gas and its refusal to recognize PLNL’s option to extend its NGC gas contract. There is now a gas contract in place through 2023.
