Vale changes terms of sale to Mosaic

Vale will keep its stake in the TIPLAM port terminal in southeast Brazil following the sale of its fertilizer business to Mosaic as part of new alterations to the deal, Bloomberg reported, citing a regulatory filing. Vale will now maintain its interest in TIPLAM and receive $1.15 billion in cash plus 34.2 million Mosaic shares, which equate to roughly 8.9% of the company, following the completion of the sale.
