Middle East: Spot down on lower CFRs

Spot prices for sulphur sales from the Middle East were assessed down at $140-160/mt FOB from $150- 170/mt, as recent sales have been at lower levels, though overall spot activity was limited. With sales reported this week from the Middle East to China in the $160s/mt CFR, to India in the $170s/mt CFR, and to Brazil in the $160s/mt CFR, netbacks above the mid-$150s/mt FOB on spot sales seemed unlikely.
