DAP/MAP prices increased again this week amid tight availability and high raw material costs despite limited demand across global markets. The largest rise this week was in Pakistan where new DAP deals were indicated for December shipment from China and Australia in the $420-425/mt CFR range, a jump from last purchases at $398-404/mt CFR. The increase pushed up Chinese DAP export prices to $390-400/mt FOB this week with most offers reported at $400-410/mt FOB. Still, in the domestic market attempts to extend price rises hit a wall this week with prices flat at RMB 2,550-2,650/mt EXW ($386-401/mt).
