Spot prices for sulphuric acid sales to Chile were assessed unchanged at $70-80/mt CFR, pending further business. Some suggested that realistic spot prices would range from the high $70s/mt to low $80s/mt CFR, though for now there was a lack of spot activity, and buyers were reluctant to pay up to the $70s/mt with negotiations for 2018 contracts already in their early stages.
