US Midwest: Cautious reactions to PCS downtime

Potash distributors in the US Midwest are reacting cautiously to PotashCorp's plan to temporarily take down some of its Saskatchewan potash production in order to control their inventory levels. Most granular potash business in recent weeks has been reported at $250-255/st FOB for truckloads sold to retailers, even though postings generally are reported at $260/st FOB.
