Brazil: Large increases expected for Q4

Negotiations for fourth-quarter Brazilian sulphur purchase contracts have not yet started, but sources expect negotiations to begin from next week. Most market participants agree that a price increase from Q4 seems a certainty at this stage. Price ideas were heard around $115/mt CFR, which would represent an increase of around $20/mt from Q3 levels, though it is still too early to say what the likely settlement range will be.
