Australia: DAP/MAP/NPK imports rise 6%

Australia imported 1.1 million mt DAP/MAP/NPK in the first seven months of 2017, a 6% increase year on year, according to IHS GTA data. MAP imports January through July 2017 rose 14% year on year to 826,129 mt, with 334,618 mt from the US, up 27% and 326,864 mt from China, a 25% rise. Imports from Saudi Arabia almost tripled to 110,406 mt.
