Malaysia: June AS imports rise 19%

Malaysia AS imports in June 2017 were 60,985 mt, a 19% rise on June 2016, according to IHS GTA data. This brought total AS deliveries in the first half of this year to 412,156 mt, up 1% on the prior year. Malaysia imported 264,581 mt AS from China, a rise of 12%, while deliveries from Taiwan were 75,957 mt, up 31%.
