No new spot activity is reported in India following Trammo’s sale to GSFC at $380/mt CFR last week. A number of large ammonia buyers, including IFFCO, CIL and PPL, said current contract prices at $340- 350/mt CFR are more attractive than spot offers. Offers for additional volumes from traders for May delivery have been dismissed by buyers claiming it is too early to settle a deal, with prices expected to soften from next month on greater ammonia supply.
