US S. Plains: Urea fell as replacement costs declined

Granular urea offered from river terminals and other suppliers in the Southern Plains declined this week, at least until replacement costs from the barge market began to rebound. Resale prices to retailers buying from Arkansas River terminals and from regional producers were cited at $310-315/st FOB. This is down $7-8/st from reports in prior weeks. Sellers noted they also have been moved to be more aggressive in their prices as wet weather slowed demand.
