Geographical space analyzed is placed in the contact area between the external sub-Carpathian hills and the piedmont plain Târgoviste, with the old alignment of localities MǎneŞti, Doicesti, Şotânga, Rǎzvad and Gura Ocnitei. To reflect the maximum amounts of precipitation fallen in 24 hours, were taken into statistical, mathematical study ranges of values for a period of years 1961 -2005 (Meteorological Station Targoviste), but also made gauging stations Mǎnesti, Şotânga and Valea Voievozilor. Maximum amounts of precipitation fell into a period of 24 h are generated in the geographical area considered, the advection of moist air masses from the west (range months from April to October) and the Mediterranean (November-March), which, sometimes overlapping dynamic effects of frontal and orographic convection, which occurs continuously. Heavy rainfall fell into a short period leading to the development of hydrological and special geo-morphological phenomena. Spread quantitatively analyze the resulting data varies between 80-140 mm/24 h, compared with an average monthly multi-annual (18-22 mm/24 h).
