K+S revenues fall 14% in Q1

German potash producer K+S posted revenues of €1.1 billion ($1.19 billion) during the first quarter of 2020, a 14% decline year on year that was partially attributed by the company to lower MOP prices. Earnings in Q1 were also hit by a mild winter in Europe that dented demand for de-icing salts, K+S said in a press statement May 8.
